AEW is doing their best to hold weekly episodes of Dynamite, and it appears that they are struggling to gain a ton of footing in the local markets. This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was no different either.

AEW took over The Broadmoor World Arena in Colorado Springs this week. Sadly, the crowd turnout was less than stellar.

This week’s AEW Dynamite opened up with a great International Championship match between Orange Cassidy and Swerve Strickland. AEW’s production team made sure to shoot the arena to make it appear that they were packed to the rafters, but that was not the case.

Fan video has emerged from the event that showcases a very low audience turnout this week. Sadly, it appeared that the venue was only around 2/3 full when the show started.

We will have to see if reports come out about crowd sweetening this week. Don Callis’ segment later on in the night was a really loud one, and it’s hard to believe all that noise came from the fans we see in this video.

You can check out the video below. This might not be the best sign for AEW. Then again, as we previously reported, CM Punk has only moved around 900 tickets for the Collision debut in Chicago, with very few tickets being sold for the rest of those announced shows.

What’s your take on AEW’s crowd turnout? What can they do to improve things? Sound off in the comments!
