During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW has plans to make Konosuke Takeshita a top babyface for the company. They are obviously starting him out as a heel.

Bryan Alvarez then noted that Konosuke Takeshita eventually turning on Don Callis could certainly make him a big babyface. Only time will tell how long that takes, but AEW seems to have plans for Takeshita.

We will have to see how this story develops in the months to come. Konosuke Takeshita is embarking as a heel in the pro wrestling world, and it’s anyone’s guess whether he ends up snatching a title or two along the way.
