Andrade El Idolo Mocks Reports That He Rejected AEW Return Pitch

Andrade El Idolo came with a lot of hype to AEW and fans were excited to see what he could accomplish in the company. As it turns out, he didn’t reach the level of success fans wanted him. While he remains absent from AEW television, reports suggested that Idolo rejected an AEW return pitch. Now it appears Idolo himself mocked such reports.

Andrade had suffered an injury and had to undergo surgery after a trios tag team match on House of The Dragon special edition of AEW Dynamite back in August last year. He clearly took time off and made the most of it by transforming himself.

As previously reported, it was officially announced that Andrade El Idolo will be making his return to AEW television as part of AEW Collision. In fact, Idolo legitimately had no idea he was going to be on the show.

Miro and Thunder Rosa were both shown backstage at AEW Dynamite few weeks ago as a way to hype up AEW Collision. Sean Ross Sapp recently reported that Andrade El Idolo rejected a pitch to make a cameo, similar to what Miro and Thunder Rosa did.

The Mexican star took to Twitter and commented on one such report, as he mocked it sarcastically, completely dismissing the report.

Andrade El Idolo’s in-ring return has also been confirmed. It remains to be seen whether Andrade El Idolo will end up getting a push after he returns to AEW television this month.
