Booker T Criticizes Lacey Evans For Not Making Use Of Her Assets With Military Gimmick

Lacey Evans has undeniable star power in WWE and an air of superiority about her. The fact that she is a real-life marine is something the company always wants to remind fans of with her gimmicks. That said, it appears that Booker T criticized Evans for not making use of her assets with her current gimmick.

Lacey Evans returned on Smackdown last week and squared off against Zelina Vega in a Money In The Bank qualifier. Evans ended up losing the match and was clearly very angry.

Lacey Evans sported a new look on the show, wearing a camouflage jacket and hat, similar to Sgt. Slaughter. This led to Slaughter’s daughter calling her out for stealing his look.

A lot of drama ensued right after that, including the fact that she roasted Sgt. Slaughter himself. While speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, Bokoer T criticized Lacey Evans for not using her assets with her current gimmick.

“One thing that I always say about my female wrestlers, I always tell them, ‘Never lose your femininity. Never lose your sex appeal. Men, they come to see you wrestle, but more importantly they come to see you. And Lacey Evans playing a military character is taking away from a lot of assets that she [has] that she could actually use.”

Sgt. Slaughter wasn’t happy about Lacey Evans using his move either. WWE also has no plans to push Lacey Evans despite her return. Regardless, Booker T’s comments will definitely lead to a lot of discussion, if nothing else.
