AEW has featured a few surprising acts, and ROH is no exception. Tony Khan’s second pro wrestling brand had a set of television tapings today, and they did not disappoint with the taping when it came to surprises.

Griff Garrison returned from injury at the taping, but that wasn’t all. The Varsity Blonde might have made his long-awaited return, but another star was also set for their debut.

At the Ring of Honor television taping held at Universal Studios, daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper, Teal Piper made her in-ring debut. This was a real treat for fans in attendance.

Teal Piper competed in a singles match against Diamante. Additionally, Piper accompanied Deimos to the ring for his match against Nick Comoroto earlier in the event.

The Sunday, June 4th, television taping did include several noteworthy happenings. It was also previously announced that a prominent AEW talent had joined the new ROH Board of Directors.

We will have to see how things unfold on television, but this was a nice update from Teal Piper today. For more on this story, and everything else going on in the pro wrestling world, stay tuned with us here at Ringside News.
