WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley has expressed her interest in participating in more intergender matches against male WWE stars. Since her victory over Akira Tozawa on the December 19, 2022, edition of RAW, fans have been suggesting potential opponents for Ripley from the men’s division.

In recent encounters with Solo Sikoa and Seth Rollins, Ripley has shown that she is open to facing male competitors in serious rivalries. During an interview with FOX 61, Ripley mentioned her love for taking on men and expressed her desire for WWE to book her in more matches against male wrestlers.

“I’m not too sure. So, for me, I would like to see it just for the pure fact that I also love beating up the men.

“I love showing them exactly who I am and proving my dominance. And it’s a different kind of excitement for me because you get to see the fear in their eyes when they realize that they’ve taken you lightly.

“Like they didn’t take you as a threat to begin with. So, I hope so for me, but I’m not too entirely sure what the future holds.”

At Night of Champions 2023, Ripley successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Title, defeating Natalya in just over one minute. As she continues to showcase her abilities as a dominant champion, fans will be eager to see if WWE embraces the concept of intergender matches and presents Ripley with more opportunities to showcase her skills against male competitors.
