Mustafa Ali Arrives In WWE NXT

Mustafa Ali had a big match against GUNTHER at WWE Night of Champions. That IC Title match did not end in Ali’s favor, but he was able to really shine on a big stage, with thousands cheering for him in Jeddah. Little did we think, but his next stop would be NXT.

In the middle of a tag team match with The Dyad vs. Tyler Bate & Wes Lee, Mustafa Ali showed up in the crowd. He slowly walked down the aisle, which the action in the ring came to a standstill.

Mustafa Ali was also sporting a leather jacket. That was a departure from his previous attire. He also did not have a smile on his face at all.

They cut to commercial after his sudden appearance, and Mustafa Ali was on commentary. He explained that since he is a free agent, he can show up anywhere. He is now “obsessed” with becoming a champion after getting so close against GUNTHER at Night of Champions.

We previously reported that Mustafa Ali wanted to work with younger talent in NXT. The thought was out there that WWE had plans for him on RAW. It appears that he got his wish to make a trip to NXT.

This was a big night for strange NXT news. They made couple of shady references to that AEW fan who was spotted watching Battleground during Double or Nothing.
