AJ Styles is touted as one of the best pro wrestlers by both fans and his peers alike. He is well respected by everyone in the industry and there are many good reasons for that. He was part of Monday Night RAW this week, which puzzled fans as he is a Smackdown star. Now it appears his appearance was a last-minute decision.

AJ Styles failed to defeat Seth Rollins in the finals of the World Heavyweight Title tournament at WWE Night Of Champions. Afterwards, fans wondered what Styles would do next.

As it turned out, AJ Styles appeared on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. He ended up teaming up with Seth Rollins in the main event of the show, where they squared off against The Judgment Day.

According to a report by Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, AJ Styles was a last-minute creative decision. It was further added that his appearance was not a means to blow up the brand split.

The AJ Styles addition to Raw last night was a last second creative decision, PWInsider.com has confirmed.  Styles was not originally slated for Raw and actually flew home upon returning to the United States on Sunday.  So, if you were wondering if they planned all along to blow up the latest brand split, that’s a no.

We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for AJ Styles on Friday Night Smackdown, as he already defeated Karrion Kross on last week’s show just before WWE Night Of Champions.
