Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were going strong as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Then Liv Morgan was taken out of action with an injury. Now, we have new champions after a match was set up this week on RAW to determine new champions.

Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville, Bayley and IYO Sky and Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi faced off in a four-way tag team match during RWA this week. The winners of that match became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

In the end, Ronda Rousey caught Shotzi with an armbar and got the submission. That marked Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler’s first reign as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.

We will have to see how long they last as champions. WWE has experienced some difficultly getting momentum on those titles, so hopefully, this reign helps turn a new leaf for the championships.
