The AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view took place on Sunday, May 28, emanating from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was truly a night to remember for many people. That said, it appears that one particular fan was spotted watching NXT Battleground instead during AEW Double Or Nothing.

The AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view featured numerous worthwhile matches that fans certainly loved. The event featured a lot of surprises for fans, including Kris Statlander’s shocking return to dethrone Jade Cargill for the TBS Women’s Champion.

That wasn’t all as MJF retained his AEW World Championship in a stellar four-way match. The show also concluded with The Elite losing to The Blackpool Combat Club in the Anarchy In The Arena match after Konosuke Takeshita betrayed The Elite.

Unfortunately, the event didn’t have as much hype before it began. As revealed by a video making rounds on social media, a fan could be seen watching NXT Battleground on their phone while present at AEW Double or Nothing.

AEW Double Or Nothing will go down as one of the more memorable shows in recent memory, but some fans just felt NXT Battleground was a more engaging event. Regardless, Tony Khan is focused on AEW Forbidden Door and that’s what he cares about right now.

What’s your take on this video? Are you surprised the fan watching NXT Battleground instead of Double Or Nothing? Let us know in the comments!
