AEW had trouble selling tickets for Double or Nothing. There was even a story that tickets were free with an order of burger and fries. It seems that they had an even harder time filling up the building for the pre-show as well.

One fan tweeted out a photo of the AEW Double or Nothing crowd. This fan apparently just bought their tickets for $7 outside the building as well.

I literally just bought a ticket right outside the door for $7 and I’m sitting in the first level right across from the ring. The preshow is on and there’s no one on the other side.

AEW has a lot of things going on, and they did their best to give Double or Nothing a focus. Some might say that this year’s build for their Las Vegas event wasn’t as strong. It is very easy to hold that assertion after looking at the fan turnout.
