The pro wrestling world is full of bright stars that WWE wouldn’t mind having around. Although WWE is the preferred destination for a lot of talent, some just haven’t made the trek yet. That could chage for one popular NJPW star.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that WWE is interested in signing Richard Holliday to deal, “and in Tama Tonga, who there has been talk about for some time.”

We will have to see if Tama Tonga finds his way to WWE. It is important to note that he is actually not related by blood to Roman Reigns and The Rock. That doesn’t mean his family history isn’t full of pro wrestling history.

Tama Tonga is the nephew and adopted son of professional wrestler Haku. He wrestled as part of the tag team Guerrillas of Destiny with his cousin/adoptive brother Tanga Loa. Obviously, WWE could find something for Tama Tonga to do.

Only time will tell if WWE will finally be able to ink Tama Tonga to a deal. They’ve had their eye on him for a while. At this point, you never know what can happen in pro wrestling to shift the landscape.
