The Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia set a new record as the fastest event in WWE history. Levesque extended his gratitude to the King and Royal Prince, prompting the crowd to chant in support of the Prince.
Levesque recalled a memorable incident from their previous visit to Riyadh, where Logan Paul filmed himself jumping off the top onto Roman Reigns, resulting in a video that garnered an impressive 53 million views. He then announced that the following day in Jeddah, they had three main events lined up, promising the same level of energy. Levesque engaged the audience in Jeddah by asking if they were ready, and the fans there were clearly having a great time.
The announcers confirmed that Cody Rhodes had indeed suffered a broken arm. Additionally, a video package highlighting the match between Rhodes and Brock Lesnar was played.
Triple H took the stage and introduced Cody Rhodes to the audience in Jeddah. The crowd enthusiastically sang Rhodes’ theme song and continued even after the music was cut. Trish attempted to express her happiness about being there, but Becky interrupted, accusing her of saying the same thing to Becky, her family, and her child. Becky revealed that she used to play with Becky’s baby after shows and be like an aunt to her, but then Trish attacked her.
The crowd then began singing Seth Rollins’ theme song, to which Becky remarked that Seth Rollins wasn’t pleased either. She emphasized that both she and her husband, Seth Rollins, understood the business, but her baby didn’t. Becky confidently declared that she would slap the Attitude Era out of the self-proclaimed “Queen of the Attitude Era” during their match the following day.
The upcoming episode of Friday Night Smackdown was promoted to the audience.
Following that, a video package highlighting Seth Rollins was aired.
AJ Styles made his entrance and expressed his gratitude to the fans. He confidently stated that he would become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Michael Cole addressed AJ’s recent comments about Seth Rollins being more focused on making movies than training for their match.
AJ clarified that Rollins had only been on the movie set (Captain America: New World Order) for a mere two weeks. Styles then questioned Rollins’ whereabouts at that moment. Cole informed him that Seth was actually in the process of landing in Saudi Arabia. AJ responded by saying that when he wins the title, the future will be truly phenomenal.
A video segment showcasing Mustafa Ali’s visit to the city of Mecca was aired.
Imperium made their entrance and introduced WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER. GUNTHER declared that he arrived in the city as the champion and acknowledged Mustafa Ali as the rightful challenger. However, he confidently stated that Ali would experience the most significant loss of his career. Michael Cole asked GUNTHER about the significance of being the longest reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion of this decade. The fans responded with chants of “You deserve it.” GUNTHER dismissively replied that what he deserves is not the fans’ concern and proclaimed himself as the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time.
Mustafa Ali made his entrance and expressed his enthusiasm about the opportunity to become the champion and showcase his worth. He mentioned that when he looks out from the ring, he sees people who share his appearance and have similar names, emphasizing that what truly matters is what is in their hearts, not their external identities.
The broadcast then featured an earlier interview with Bianca Belair. She expressed her happiness about being in Saudi Arabia and mentioned that the passionate fans were a significant reason for her excitement.
A video package highlighting the Tag Team Championship match was aired.
Paul Heyman made his entrance and delivered his customary grand introduction, which was well-received by the crowd. Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa then made their way to the stage.
