WWE is set to crown a new World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions on May 28th. That will see Seth Rollins and AJ Styles battle in the championship match, and the title they are both going for has a lot of history wrapped in it.

We previously reported that the new World Heavyweight Championship will continue the legacy of the same that was introduced in 2002 and remained in the company until 2013. That title was unified in at TLC 2013, but it is coming back.

WWE revealed a new video for the World Heavyweight Championship, where they showed off several details about the title. Obviously, a lot of thought went into that new championship’s design.

The belt features an eagle that pays tribute to the legendary Winged Eagle WWE Title. There are three lions in the title’s design, just like that are on the McMahon Family crest. The title also features a crown on the top of it, which pays tribute to the title Bruno Sammartino defended for years.

There are also 60 diamonds around the title to signify each year of the company. Also, the entire thing is surrounded by a gold ring rope, just like the squared circle itself.

You can check out the new video that shows all of these great details below. Only time will tell who win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but they will certainly have a nice title to carry.
