AEW Collision is coming at fans on June 17th, and the pro wrestling world can’t wait to see what the viewership number will be. Only time will tell if CM Punk can get a ton of fans to tune in on a Saturday, but the jury is still out in a big way. That also includes who will call the action.

PW Insider provided notes from Tony Khan’s media conference before Double or Nothing. Tony Khan was asked about the future broadcast team for Collision. This is something that he has certainly thought about, but TK wasn’t ready to make any announcement today.

In regards to the new series’ announce team decision, Tony Khan mentioned that he has considered various options in the past, including individuals like Veda Scott, Kevin Kelly, and the current ROH broadcast team. Specifically addressing Veda Scott, he praised her as an excellent announcer.

Jim Ross expressed his hope that he will get to be a part of the new AEW Collision show. Obviously, a lot of fans would like to hear Good ole JR in that role as well.

AEW obviously has a lot of choices to make in the next few weeks regarding AEW Collision. The new show will be here on June 17th, whether we’re ready or not. Hopefully, they are able to land on who will call the action in the ring.
