WWE has a lot of things going right now, and that could include some bold changes. Endeavor merging the company with the UFC will see a brand-new era for the company, and you never know what will happen next.

We previously covered that WWE is open to the idea of adding more adult themes to the 3rd hour of RAW every week. They are also open to a number of other changes.

Nick Khan stated at the JPMorgan TMT event that WWE is open to adding another hour to SmackDown. Amazon was also brought into the picture, and it was reiterated that either WWE brand can take place on any night of the week.

Nick Khan said, “We’re still open to a third hour for Smackdown.”

He talked up Amazon. He said Smackdown as well as Raw “can go on any night of the week.”

SmackDown has historically been a two-hour show, and that has added to its appeal. Many fans have commented on how the show feels tighter than a longer three-hour broadcast, but that could change as the company’s ongoing television talks continue.

We will have to see what is next for WWE. Any number of changes could be coming in the pipeline as TKO Holdings Group is now a thing. Keep Vince McMahon and company seem to be more open for business than ever.

What’s your take on WWE possibly changing up SmackDown? Do you want to see another hour of SmackDown? Sound off in the comments!
