WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline and endless possibilities as well. It seems that the company certainly wants to push Cody Rhodes, and next year’s WrestleMania could be a banner event for the grandson of a plumber.

We previously reported that WWE is considering huge main event for WrestleMania 40. Apparently, that isn’t the only match on the table.

Wrestle Vote told GiveMeSport that WWE has another WrestleMania 40 match in mind for Cody Rhodes. It was noted that the company may want to book a rematch of the WrestleMania 39 main event match.

“I can say this. The rematch that’s at the forefront of everybody’s minds, Cody vs Roman, is very much on the table to main event in Philadelphia next year.”

We will have to see what happens in the next year, but this main event match could have quite a story to tell as well. Of course, Roman Reigns versus anyone that isn’t The Rock at this point could also point toward the diminished hope that the Great One will make a return for next year’s show of shows as well.

Either way, it appears that Cody Rhodes will be factored into WWE’s plan for a long time to come. Hopefully, he can stay healthy and keep his focus as the American Nightmare fights to finish his story.
