John Cena is not only one of the biggest names in pro wrestling – he has taken Hollywood by storm in a major way as well. Being part of numerous blockbuster franchises to his name, Cena’s star continues to shine bright even now. Now it appears he compared his ‘Fast & Furious family to his early days in WWE.

John Cena has always made sure to give it his 100% no matter what role he is given and his Hollywood accolades as of late speak for themselves. This includes his roles in films such as ‘The Suicide Squad’ and ‘Peacemaker,’ among others.

The Leader of Cenation is also set to reprise his role as Jakob Toretto, the brother of Dominic Toretto in the upcoming ‘ Fast X,’ which is the latest installment in the long-running ‘Fast & Furious’ movies.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio to promote ‘Fast X,’ John Cena stated that there are a lot of parallels between the WWE locker room and the cast of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies. Cena added that his ‘Fast & Furious’ family reminds him of his early days in WWE.

“The parallels that the Fast Family runs to a WWE locker room [are] uncanny. I think it’s the way it is because the original cast has been doing it for twenty two years. They don’t want some new person coming in and essentially negating their hard work, so everybody is vetted properly and it’s a real family environment. There’s a few conversations and cocktails that are encouraged, which I really love that. It’s a great place to work and it reminds me of my early days in WWE.”

“Fast X” will hit theaters on May 19 and is certain to be a major hit with fans. As for John Cena himself, he will also star in Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated film ‘Barbie,’ where he will be portraying the role of mermaid. We’ll have to see how both films will turn out.

What’s your take on the new ‘Fast’ movie? Are you excited to see it in theaters? Sound off in the comments!
