WWE NXT Adds Multiple Matches To Battleground Special

WWE NXT Battleground is set to go down on May 28th, 2023, at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. We already had a big main event for the show, but now we have another big match to expect.

We already knew that Carmelo Hayes will defend his NXT Title against Bron Breakker. This will be a chance for a heel Breakker to get his title back.

Also, the finals of the NXT Women’s Title tournament will conclude at Battleground. We will have to see who gets to the end of the tournament.

Gallus are still NXT Tag Team Champions for now, but The Creed Brothers made it clear that they want those titles. The Creed Brothers laid down the challenge on NXT this week after they beat the Dyad.

During the Supernova Sessions, Dragon Lee challenged Noam Dar for the Heritage Cup. Nathan Frazer came down to make sure that Dar accepted that match.

We will have to see what else NXT adds to the Battleground event, but it seems that they are building some serious steam toward the special event.
