WWE Hall Of Famer Eric Bischoff is a true veteran in pro wrestling, whose opinion actually matters because of his wealth of knowledge. He was at the forefront when it came to WCW’s war against WWE during the Monday Night Wars, but that’s all in the past now. Bischoff also appeared on RAW last week and it appears he almost turned down the appearance.

Last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW featured Night Two of the WWE Draft, which was a night to be remembered. The show featured quite a few WWE legends, which also included Eric Bischoff.

The WWE Hall Of Famer appeared on the show to present one of the Draft picks. Fans were actually happy to see Bischoff back on WWE television as it had been a while since his last appearance.

While speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff revealed that he was asked to appear during the draft over a month ago but then didn’t hear back from the company for some time. Bischoff got a call a few days before RAW and almost turned it down before realizing it was a good deal.

“I never heard from them, and then I was in Norwalk, Connecticut, I got a phone call saying, ‘Hey, can you be at TV on Monday?’ I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, there’s a lot of rearranging and traveling,’ and I almost said, ‘No,’ but I thought, ‘Well, it’s such a great opportunity, and I do wanna see some people,’ whatever. So, I ended up doing it, but it came about relatively quickly.”

Eric Bischoff also opened up about his appearance recently. Regardless, Easy E is glad he decided to take up the offer and appear on last week’s episode of Monday Night RAW and that’s all that matters.
