During his match against Cody Rhodes at Backlash, Brock Lesnar suffered a cut on his forehead that caused him to bleed. Initially, there was speculation that Lesnar might have used a blade to assist in that blood. However, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Brock Lesnar’s face was covered in blood after he hit his head on an exposed turnbuckle. Some fans believed that Lesnar had a blade hidden in his gloves, which he used while he was on his knees in the corner. Then another fan pointed out in some footage that Lesnar suffered the cut immediately after his head hit the exposed steel turnbuckle.

Due to this footage, it is pretty clear that Brock Lesnar had no time to blade at all. This was a legit cut that Lesnar suffered, as some refer to it as “hard way bleeding.”

Blading is strictly prohibited in WWE, and that’s not what happened at Backlash at all. If anything, Brock Lesnar might have split himself open on purpose, but that’s the only intentional reason that Lesnar bled.
