The 2023 WWE Draft is over, and the company shook up the rosters in a big way. New matchups are going to be created as Superstars travel to the other brand, and that also includes a couple of people who are currently out of action.

Charlotte Flair hasn’t been seen in WWE since WrestleMania, where she lost a big match against Rhea Ripley. Then she was drafted to SmackDown as Ripley was picked for RAW. That will pause The Nightmare and Flair’s storyline for now, but it also opens up another big possibility.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Bianca Belair will likely have Charlotte Flair to deal with soon enough. That being said, Flair will also get to turn heel in the process and have an easy time doing so.

The women’s side is lacking heels right now, but when Belair was moved to Smackdown, it was pretty much expected Flair would be her new opponent and Flair can easily go heel.

Charlotte Flair is expected to be back in WWE by SummerSlam, because she is featured on the poster for the Ford Field event. That being said, we don’t know exactly how soon she will return before that.

Bianca Belair already said that she will be a fighting SmackDown Women’s Champion in her video message during the 2023 WWE Draft. It’s unclear why they aired that whole thing, or didn’t have her re-shoot it, because Michael Cole had to immediately backtrack on her championship claims after the promo. Then they went ahead and drafted the SmackDown Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, to RAW, which completed the switch.

We’ll have to see what WWE has in store for Bianca Belair, but it seems that The Queen will be gunning for her soon enough. The big question is whether the EST of WWE will be able to overcome a rested up heel Charlotte Flair.
