Several WWE Superstars Were Aware Of Draft Choices Before RAW

WWE just held their Draft, and we don’t even have the new active rosters yet. The company likes to capture organic reactions from Superstars when draft choices are revealed, but it turns out that several Superstars knew ahead of time before RAW this year.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE actually let “several” Superstars know about their draft destinations before RAW. A few of them filmed promos prior to the show as well, which was a big clue that they already knew.

Several of the WWE talent that were drafted on the Monday Raw were made aware the Friday prior and filmed promos accordingly.

WWE kept their draft choices a big secret for SmackDown, but Bianca Belair and The Street Profits already knew. After all, Belair filmed a promo from Europe, and the Street Profits were rocking their SmackDown gear.

The new rosters from the 2023 WWE Draft will go into effect on May 8th, right after Backlash. We will have to see how they shake out when it comes to the new World Heavyweight Title tournament that Triple H revealed during the Backlash press conference.
