Sonya Deville made her comeback to WWE television back in January 2020 in a non-wrestling role. Fast forward two years, Deville is now an active in-ring competitor, but that’s not the only thing she does now. She had to deal with a lot of trouble back in 2020 due to a personal stalker. Thankfully, the stalker got a 15-year sentence and now it appears Deville commented on the same.

For those who don’t remember, a man named Philip Thomas II broke into Sonya Deville’s home back in August 2020 and tried to kidnap her after years of stalking her on the internet.

Thomas was arrested and charged with aggravated stalking, armed burglary, attempted armed kidnapping, and criminal mischief. A protective order was also filed against the man to keep him away from Deville.

As previously reported, Judge Barbara Twine-Thomas handed 15-year sentence to Philip Thomas II. In light of this, Sonya Deville took to her Instagram and uploaded a photo of herself smiling in joy as she wrote an emotional post.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out today. After almost 3 years we finally got some closure last week. I am happy and healthy and have amazing people by my side. To say it’s over feels odd but I am beyond grateful for the support and help I received over the past 3 years from Tampa PD, to everyone in the courts, attorneys, friends, security and so so many more. I have a lot to say pertaining to this situation which I feel can help a lot of people in similar situations now that the legalities are over. BUT for now thank you 🙏 🖤

It is wonderful to see that Sonya Deville got all the love and support she needed throughout this nightmarish ordeal. Deville is now glad to leave all that behind her drama behind and that’s all that matters.

What’s your take on what Sonya Deville said? Are you happy for her? Sound off in the comments!
