Charlotte Flair is taking another hiatus as the company enters into a brand-new era. By the time Flair returns from her break, WWE and UFC’s merger could be 100% completed, leaving her with a lot to work toward in WWE to prove her status once again.

WrestleMania 39 saw Charlotte Flair lose the SmackDown Women’s Title to Rhea Ripley in a match that some argued should have main evented WrestleMania Saturday. This was due to a lot of reasons, but Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens vs The Usos still closed out the show.

While speaking with Boardroom, Charlotte Flair talked about WWE’s deal with Endeavor Group, and she addressed her recent absence from WWE. To her, it’s a blessing and a curse.

“For me, I went from having never any off-days to getting injured last year after WrestleMania and being off for seven months, and then now off again for a couple weeks for something that I needed to take care of, so it’s a blessing and a curse. Like, no one wants to be injured, but having that first time off for that extended amount of time, I think was definitely healthy for my mindset.”

Charlotte Flair was drafted to the SmackDown brand during the 2023 WWE Draft, so she will return to FOX when that day comes. She is taking full advantage of her time off from WWE, but her fans can’t wait to see The Queen return.

This is quite a time to take a break from WWE, but Charlotte Flair has earned such luxuries during her time as a top WWE Superstar. Only time will tell when she comes back, but Charlotte Flair hasn’t lost focus in the meantime.

What’s your take on this situation with Charlotte Flair? Do you really want her to make a WWE return? Sound off in the comments!
