There is only one Queen in today’s generation of WWE, and her name is Charlotte Flair. The second-generation star accomplished a lot in her career. She also lost to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39 and now it seems Charlotte Flair explained why she took a hiatus after the event.

Charlotte Flair defended her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 39. Rhea Ripley defeated Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship in what was an incredible match-up.

Charlotte Flair would then be on hiatus from WWE television after WrestleMania 39. Flair had some things to take care of and wanted to take her time in getting them done.

While speaking with Boardroom, Charlotte Flair addressed her recent absence from WWE. Flair was asked about the recent sale of WWE to Endeavor. Flair would then briefly talk about the sale before she addressed her current WWE hiatus.

When it comes to the business side, I feel as a performer, my position isn’t gonna change. Maybe if I was brand new, but my job as a performer is just to make who’s behind the headphones in Gorilla happy, and then the fans. I don’t really get wrapped up in what’s happening there, but the sale is a big deal. I’ll be interested to see what happens in the future with Endeavor.

For me, I went from having never any off-days to getting injured last year after WrestleMania and being off for seven months, and then now off again for a couple weeks for something that I needed to take care of, so it’s a blessing and a curse.

Like, no one wants to be injured, but having that first time off for that extended amount of time, I think was definitely healthy for my mindset.”

Charlotte Flair was recently drafted to Friday Night Smackdown as part of the WWE Draft this year. We will have to wait and see who Charlotte Flair will feud with, once she finally returns to WWE television.
