The 2023 first quarter earnings report from WWE brought a few interesting pieces of information to light. We know how much time WWE has left in their deal with Peacock, and UFC is going to keep their hands out of WWE business.

During the conference call, Nick Khan was also asked about renewals for Raw and Smackdown. He stated that they have had “productive conversations” with NBCU and FOX. They have also seen growth in the product.

FOX and USA Network get month each as an exclusive window to talk to WWE about keeping them. Those talks are apparently going well so far, but Nick Khan didn’t totally show his hand in that regard.

Nick Khan could not provide an estimated timing for the renewals, but he expressed confidence in the future of both series. WWE doesn’t seem eager to find a new television home, but they are always open for business once that window closes for exclusive television rights talks.
