WWE makes a ton of money off their television rights deals. When Vince McMahon returned to WWE, it was to usher in a company sale and assist in those television rights deals. Now that the company has been sold to Endeavor, that leaves one more objective for Mr. McMahon.

While appearing on CNBC’s Squawk Box alongside Vince McMahon, Ariel Emanuel took on a question about WWE’s current media rights discussions. He had to admit that they haven’t started yet, but WWE is still in a very fine place.

The rights fees are coming up, no, they have not started the talks.

WWE generates a lot of viewership with their fan base of diehards and casual viewers. Only time will tell if this next round of television rights deals will include some new names at the table. After all, an association with the UFC could bring up some very interesting possibilities.

Vince McMahon will also continue with his hand in WWE creative. Although he doesn’t want to be “in the weeds,” he is still making big calls for the company’s creative direction.

Are you excited about what’s to come for WWE and UFC? What should they name their new company? Sound off in the comments!
