Solo Sikoa debuted in NXT back in 2021 and was booked strongly since day one. He had some solid matches and an undefeated run for a long time, which further raised his stock. He was also part of the WWE Draft this week and it appears he competed in a match after SmackDown concluded this week.

This week’s SmackDown took place in the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. It was the first night of the WWE Draft, which saw numerous talent switching brands.

It also saw Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defending their Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles against The Usos. Solo Sikoa interfered in the match but Matt Riddle came out to even the odds. The two brawled their way to the back, resulting in The Usos losing the match.

Following the conclusion of Friday Night Smackdown this week, Solo Sikoa squared off against Matt Riddle in a dark match. Sikoa managed to get a measure of revenge as he defeated Riddle after hitting him with a Samoan Spike.
