Pro wrestling has seen a lot of crossover athletes come in and make a lot of noise. Sometimes a special attraction will come in for one match, and then never be seen again. Other times, an athlete with the right passion can make a smooth transition into pro wrestling to become a part-time mainstay. We’ll have to see what Gervonta Davis decides to do, but he seems interested.

Gervonta Davis is a professional boxer, known for his impressive knockout power and quick reflexes in the ring. He has held multiple world championships in the super featherweight and lightweight divisions and is considered one of the top rising stars in the sport. Although he has excelled in boxing, a pro wrestling run isn’t out of the question either.

Gervonta Davis recently spoke to Bally Sports, where he was asked about potentially working with WWE or AEW. He had a very simple reply, but it might also get Triple H and Tony Khan on the phone calling Davis’ people.

I would be down for it.

When asked about his favorite wrestlers, Gervonte Davis said that Rey Mysterio and Shawn Michaels take his top two spots. It doesn’t seem like he had room for any AEW talent on that list, but he might have been too busy in boxing to catch up with Tony Khan’s company.

We’ll have to see if he can pull off a pro wrestling transition. A lot of people have done it before him, with boxers like Logan Paul and Tyson Fury trying their hand in the ring. Only time will tell what’s next for Gervonte Davis, but he’s not done in the boxing ring yet.
