WWE RAW is scheduled to air from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois tonight, but reports suggest that one of the top authority figures will be missing from the lineup.

According to PWInsider Elite, Vince McMahon will not be present at the event. This news comes at a critical time for WWE as it gears up for its upcoming Backlash pay-per-view event hosted by Bad Bunny in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Given that RAW is emanating from one of WWE’s top markets tonight, many had assumed that McMahon would have a hand in the proceedings. However, it seems that he will not be present at the Allstate Arena, leaving fans to wonder where the ex-WWE owner will pop up next.

Although there are concerns about McMahon’s involvement in creative decisions since his reinstatement, Paul “Triple H” Levesque is currently holding the reins. Reports suggest that McMahon has made some adjustments to plans for subsequent shows, since he return to the company after his 6-month hiatus.
