Goldberg wants another mini-run in pro wrestling that will end with his final match. There is some interest in hosting his final bout, but nobody has booked it yet. Matt Cardona really wants someone to just book that match already.

Ringside News reached out to confirm this story about Goldberg. We were exclusively told that nobody in WWE is talking about Goldberg in creative sense. It was also made very clear to us that WWE is well aware that Goldberg might go to AEW for his retirement match.

Matt Cardona is tired of waiting on Goldberg’s last match. The former Zack Ryder really wants someone to book a match between himself and Goldberg, so he can retire the former WCW World Champion. When asked if he wants to retire Goldberg, Cardona was very excited about the idea.

Goldberg made ton of money with WWE to work those Saudi Arabian shows. So, his final match will probably draw a pretty penny. It’s a safe bet that his opponent will also get a big payday out of the deal, so that might play into Matt Cardona’s enthusiasm.

We’ll have to see who Goldberg faces in his last match. That encounter is bound to get attention, and Matt Cardona is certainly a person who would fit the bill to face Goldberg. At this point, we have heard that there is interest, but we haven’t been able to confirm any names.
