There are rumors circulating that CM Punk, who had a falling out with AEW at the All Out pay-per-view event last year, could be making return to wrestling. The latest speculation is fueled by reports of brand split in AEW that would see Punk become the star of a new Saturday night show, with The Elite remaining on Dynamite. This news has caused a lot of excitement among wrestling fans.

During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez and Mike Sempervive discussed what could be announced on this Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as President Tony Khan is expected to make an announcement. While nothing has been confirmed, Alvarez believes that AEW will announce that they are heading to the United Center for the debut episode of Collision on June 17th.

Alvarez also mentioned that he was told there will be a special tagline for the debut show at the United Center and that it will be related to CM Punk. The tagline has not been revealed yet, but Alvarez speculates that it could indicate that Punk will be returning and that this time, it won’t be a surprise like his appearance on Rampage.

“What I know is that they have a tagline for this show. I’m not talking about a tagline for Collision. I’m talking about a tagline for that specific show at the United Center. Whatever it is, I believe it’s CM Punk related. I think this time they’re going to announce that that is going to be where he is going to be returning and it’s not gonna be like the first time where it was a big surprise. I don’t know that for sure but the fact that they have a Punk related tagline tells me…I think at some point we are going to be told in advance for the debut of this big show.”
