CM Punk & The Miz Buried The Hatchet Before WWE RAW This Week

WWE rolled through Chicago this week, and that brought a very interesting guest to the Allstate Arena. CM Punk was there backstage for a moment, but then he was asked to leave. During that time, it appears he was able to bury the hatchet with The Miz.

As we previously reported, CM Punk was asked to leave WWE RAW this week, but he was backstage for while. Punk reportedly got to see several members of the roster and also talk to Triple H. It was also reported exactly who asked CM Punk to leave. Some WWE Superstars also believe that CM Punk only showed up to hype his AEW return.

PW Insider went on to report that CM Punk and The Miz were able to meet backstage. It was said that they were able to clear the air due to their previous drama.

We can also confirm that multiple sources stated The Miz and Punk spoke for a short period of time and “cleared the air.”

The Miz and CM Punk do have quite a history with each other. It seems like those issues are water under the bridge at this point. It’s good to hear that they were able to bury the hatchet.

We’ll have to see where CM Punk pops up next. The general thought backstage is that he might have shown up at WWE RAW this week just to hype his upcoming AEW return.
