Sasha Banks walked out of WWE, and it didn’t take her a lot of time to make a jump to NJPW, where she picked up their women’s title. That big win for Mercedes Mone might have been a dream come true, but all good things must come to an end.

Mercedes Mone battled Mayu Iwatani at Sunday’s STARDOM’s All Star Grand Queendom event with the IWGP Women’s Title on the line. That match ended with a new champion being crowned.

Mercedes Mone was grilled online for her cringe-worth guitar promo on Mayu. It turns out that she might have even more time for that music album she teased, because she no longer has a title to defend.

After the match, the two competitors hugged it out in the ring. There was sportsmanship shown, but that doesn’t mean Mercedes Mone is thrilled about losing her title.

I feel broke

! But I called my CPA’s and they told me I’m still rich so I will be okay! Until next time [Japan] Moné out

This is a very interesting turn of events, especially with Mercedes Mone’s future in Japan in question. She might decide to sign a new deal, but there are obviously other options available for her at this point in her career.
