WWE’s next Draft is starting next Friday for SmackDown. It seems that the company has some big plans, but Superstars are still questioning what is next for them.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that WWE Superstars are mostly in the dark about their draft destinations. This is nothing new, because WWE likes to capture organic reactions around Draft time.

Several WWE talent haven’t been informed as to what brand they’re going to be on. This is common for drafts and shakeups.

We will have to see how the 2023 WWE Draft pans out. There could be a lot of surprises this time around, especially with Triple H as Chief Content Officer.

Ringside News exclusively reproted that Vince McMahon has had no say in the 2023 Draft yet. Then again, it’s still his company, so Mr. McMahon could always swoop in whenever he wants and switch things up. We also exclusively reported that the 2023 WWE Draft had no bearing on Vince McMahon’s return to the company, or vice versa.
