Nia Jax was one of the top Superstars in WWE’s women’s division, but was a highly controversial one for being an unsafe worker. This was made more apparent after she legitimately injured Becky Lynch’s face back in 2018. Now it appears that Nia Jax was freaking out after the injury.

In the lead-up to the highly anticipated Champion vs. Champion match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey at the 2018 Survivor Series pay-per-view, the brand warfare between RAW and Smackdown was truly at the highest level.

Becky Lynch led the charge as Smackdown invaded RAW before Survivor Series. Lynch was fighting numerous RAW Superstars in the ring, which included Nia Jax. Unfortunately for her, Nia Jax ended up legitimately punching Becky Lynch – breaking her nose and concussing her badly.

While speaking with Ring The Belle, Nia Jax recalled the nasty accident. The former RAW Women’s Champion recalled freaking out after the incident and immediately reached out to Lynch.

“When that happened, like on a personal level, I was horrified. I was completely horrified. It was a pure freaking accident and I went backstage and the doctors were around her. They didn’t want us around but I was making sure she was okay. I was freaking out and then I ran into her, like, she went and got checked out and then I called her and she was like, ‘You know, it’s okay, it’s probably gonna help me,’ and I was like, ‘Oh! I didn’t think of it that way.'”

The accident turned out to be the best thing that happened to Becky Lynch. Nia Jax is also leaving the door open for WWE return in the future. Fans will always remember that injury and that’s never changing.

What’s your take on what Nia Jax said? Are you glad about the accidental injury? Sound off in the comments!
