Carmella Urges ‘Total Divas’ to Make a Comeback: “I Really Feel We Need to Bring It Back”

Carmella stands out as a shining star in WWE’s women’s division, particularly in her recent performances on the main roster. However, a string of bad luck more or less halted her momentum. That said, Carmella never forgot her roots, which is why she wants Total Divas back.

After a lengthy absence from WWE television, Carmella returned earlier this year and eventually made her way to the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, which she was unable to win.

Carmella would then pair up with Chelsea Green but has since been absent from WWE television for almost a month now. While she remains absent from WWE television, there are many fans who remember how she used to be during her early days in the company.

This includes her time on Total Divas, which offered fans a very different look into the personal lives of WWE Superstars. While speaking on Instagram with Sweety High, Carmella revealed that she wants Total Divas to return and provided her reasoning behind it.

“I would love that [a Total Divas comeback]. I really wanna put that out into the universe. I really feel like we need to bring it back. I feel like we’re really lacking that in the WWE. We really need to connect with our female audience and that’s what Total Divas did.

It brought such a female audience towards our product and you know, people got to see what we do behind the scenes and get to know us for who we really were, not just who we play on TV and I feel like we’re missing that right now in WWE. We’re missing the connection with the female audience outside of the ring of course and I feel like I would just love to bring that back. So I’m putting that out there to the universe.”

Carmella also has plans to have baby this year. We will have to wait and see whether Carmella’s wish will come true and Total Divas will somehow make a return. For the time being, that does seem highly unlikely.
