Sami Zayn has been part of the WWE family for almost a decade now and has consistently improved himself at every turn. This was especially the case with his storyline featuring The Bloodline. Things between the two parties are clearly not over, as evident from this week’s RAW. That said, it seems Vince Russo ripped Sami Zayn for throwing punches like a girl.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeated The Usos for The Undisputed Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39, much to the delight of fans. Despite that, The Bloodline was clearly not done with the duo.

As seen on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Kevin Owens faced Solo Sikoa in the main event and lost after interference from The Usos. After the match, the Bloodline beat up Owens but were eventually run off by Sami Zayn and Matt Riddle.

While speaking on Legion of RAW, Vince Russo talked about the aforementioned segment. Russo stated that the run-in was brought down by Sami Zayn’s punches. He ripped Sami Zayn for throwing punches like a girl.

I know Sami Zayn used to be El Generico. I think I worked with Sami Zayn once or twice when he was at TNA when he was El Generico. Here’s what I know, he’s been doing this for a very long time. They do this big run in at the end because Kevin Owens their buddy is getting pumped. Sami Zayn is throwing punches like a girl.

I am a guy watching a television show, they are beating you best friend to a pulp, you guys come running through the parking garage like Superman and Batman side by side and the minute you get out in the arena, you’re gonna start giving rabbit punches to the side of the head.

I would love to know the excuse for that because the second you throw that first rabbit punch that wouldn’t hurt a fly, you’ve lost me. Now it’s fake, now it’s phony, just like I thought it was. Look at the punches Sami Zayn is throwing, you’ve got to be better than that,”

Sami Zayn almost missed RAW this week due to travel issues that plagued half the roster. Thankfully, he was able to make it in time for the segment. Now it remains to be seen how WWE will continue to book The Bloodline and Sami Zayn’s feud in the coming weeks.

What’s your take on what Vince Russo said? Do you think Sami Zayn’s punches need improvement? Sound off in the comments!
