FTR put their AEW careers on the line for another shot at the Gunns’ AEW World Tag Team Championships. The match finally took place on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite.

The main event of AEW Dynamite concluded with the Gunns nearly winning with some underhanded tactics. However, FTR managed to get the better of the Gunns and won the match, thus becoming the new champions.

That was definitely a huge moment for Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, but that wasn’t really the end of it. As fans know, both Harwood and Wheeler were largely misused by WWE during their time on the main roster when Vince McMahon was in charge. Therefore, they clearly don’t have the best opinions when it comes to McMahon. That was reflected by Harwood’s actions after Dynamite end went off the air this week.

Dax Harwood was seen holding up a sign with a photoshopped image of Vince McMahon’s head in Tony Khan’s hands. The sign read “VINCE FEARS TONY,” making fun of Vince McMahon. It is evident that Harwood was taking a huge shot at Vince McMahon, who is now back in WWE Creative for good.

Dax holding a VINCE FEARS TONY sign after Dynamite. Haha, yes.

With FTR becoming the new AEW World Tag Team Champions, it is clear they will be sticking with Tony Khan’s promotion in the long run. Now it remains to be seen how FTR will be booked in the coming weeks.

What’s your take on Dax Harwood taking a shot at Vince McMahon? Do you think he shouldn’t have done that? Sound off in the comments!
