Bron Breakker held the NXT Title proudly as a babyface, but all that changed at Stand & Deliver when Carmelo Hayes won the title. He came out on NXT this week, and those changes for Bron Breakker kept coming.

Carmelo Hayes came out to the ring during the final segment of NXT this week. He cut a little promo and then called out Bron Breakker. After thanking Breakker for everything he’s done, a handshake was extended. That is when things took an unexpected turn.

Bron Breakker latched onto Carmelo Hayes and destroyed him. This was an apparent heel turn, but the NXT crowd was chanting “one more time” by the end of his beatdown.

While many fans believed that Bron Breakker was on his way to the WWE main roster, it doesn’t seem that is going to go down right now. He looks to be off in his own creative direction right now, and taking a stab at the heel side of his character now.

Only time will tell how long Bron Breakker has left in NXT, but it appears that he is going to keep his feud going with Carmelo Hayes for now. Obviously, this is a situation that could change at the drop of a hat, but it certainly provided a surprising ending to NXT this week.
