WWE held their biggest show of the year over the weekend, but Ronda Rousey’s place on the card was anything but notable. There is a reason that they placed her in a four-way tag team match alongside Shayna Baszler, because Rousey simply wasn’t ready for competition.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on Ronda Rousey’s involvement in that WrestleMania match. It was very apparent that they were protecting her because the Baddest Woman on the Planet wasn’t ready for action yet.

She very clearly was not ready to be there, it was very obvious

Ronda Rousey only had a couple of spots during that WrestleMania match, and although her team won the match, she stayed out of action as much as possible.

The original plan for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler at WrestleMania saw the two win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. Due to Rousey’s injury, WWE had to go a totally different direction. Hopefully, Ronda Rousey staying out of the line of fire will help her heal up faster, so they can get back to that plan.
