At one point in the match, the Usos ran down to help Roman Reigns out. Then Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn ran down to chase Jimmy and Jey off. This spot brought the SoFi Stadium crowd to a fever pitch as well. Then Solo came back out and helped Roman win the match.

During the media scrum after WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns was asked about where he stands in his current storyline. The Tribal Chief replied to say that we’ve only scratched the surface.

“If this is baseball, then we’re just in the 3rd inning. I’ve said it so long, that we’re just scratching the surface. I told y’all it had to be a month after I came back in 2020 at SummerSlam, we’re running stuff.”

“We’re not just doing TikTok or YouTube shorts. You’re gonna have to expand, you’re gonna have to open up your attention span. You’re gonna have to pay attention for longer than 20 seconds, y’all.”

“That’s what we’re doing here. We’re giving you filet mignon, this isn’t McDonald’s this isn’t fast food, we’re giving you the good stuff and I meant it and I kept my word.”

We’ll have to see what is going on with Roman Reigns in a year from now. For all we know, Roman could be defending the same titles this time next year as the show of shows rolls into Philly.

What’s your take on Roman Reigns’ title reign? Are you glad he retained at WrestleMania? Sound off in the comments!
