It’s time for the annual WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony to take place where WWE honors its legends of the past for their accomplishments to the business.

The Hall of Fame Ceremony will kick off soon and promises to be a fun night of exciting storytelling from inductees’ legendary careers.This year’s inductees are as follows:

  • Rey Mysterio
  • Stacy Keibler

  • Tim White (Warrior Award)

Kayla welcomes the crowd to the Hall of Fame ceremony. She introduces Stacy Keibler as the first inductee.

Stacy Keibler

Mick Foley’s music plays and he is in the ring with Torrie Wilson. Mick says this evening is about Stacy Keibler. He says he has also been wondering why he is inducting her in the Hall of Fame. He says he was asked by her to induct her in the Hall of Fame.

Mick calls her the kindest human beings he has ever met. He says a lot of fans may not know about the women of the past but they were a pillar of the company. He says the last time he saw Stacy was 2005 when he heard she was going to be on Dancing With The Stars and he describes how they met at a Jets game. He called it a special moment but not as special as this moment.

Torrie Wilson then says that she will do her best not to cry. She describes the first moment she saw Stacy and how the women in the locker room were in awe of her beauty. She says Stacy’s popularity skyrocketed and within weeks she was moved to the main roster.

She says she will never forget the first time they learnt to take a bump. She says Stacy’s presence helped push an evolution leading us to the superstars of today. Torrie says no one could keep their eyes away from Stacy Keibler. She called Stacy bold and fearless.

She says the best thing about Stacy is that she stepped out of the limelight to take care of her family. She credits Stacy for paving the way for other stars to make it outside WWE. She then introduces Stacy Keibler.

Stacy Keibler’s theme song plays and she walks out to the ring.

Stacy starts by saying it is good to be home. She says she is grateful for everyone who has been part of her journey. She says the fans made her the best entertainer. She says she loved being on stage since she was young.

She says the fans shaped her career and gave her strength. Stacy recalls a moment where she was a fan in the crowd. She thought if she entered the dance contest, she could meet Bret Hart. She didn’t expect that would lead her to the Hall of Fame. She says it is surreal.

She then says that she tried to demonstrate grit and grace during her time in WWE. She then confirms that wrestling hurts but she always found the strength to wrestle.

She says her first teacher was Medusa. She described what she went through with her. She thanked all the women who came up with her. She also thanked Finlay, Shane Helms, and the Dudley Boys.

Stacy says she was a big Torrie fan and described their first interaction. She says they in the trenches together and Torrie showed her what it meant to be strong, sexy, and kind. She then thanked Torrie Wilson. She also thanked Mick.

She also thanked her husband for pushing her to be the best and most authentic version of herself. She also thanked her parents for instilling good morals and values in her. She says she has felt an enormous amount of love from everyone.

She says she hopes she inspired the fans to be the best version of themselves. She thanked everyone for making her dreams come true and accepted the honor of being in the Hall of Fame.

Kayla Braxton then introduced Andy Kaufman

Jerry Lawler says he wishes he could be in person. He says some of his most memorable moments involve Andy Kaufman. He says since he is at home recovering, he is asking Jimmy Hart to induct Andy Kaufman.

Jimmy Hart’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. He starts by saying Andy Kaufman was a genius on getting heat. He says he got the people so riled up, people were damaging his car. He says Andy loved the wrestling business.

He recalls how Andy refused autographs because he wanted to stay in character. He explains their handicap match against Jerry Lawler where they had a miscommunication. He also explains how Andy wanted an ambulance after he was hit with a piledriver.

Jimmy says Andy loved this business and because of that, they are going to induct him into the Hall of Fame. He then welcomes the Kaufman family.

They start by thanking Jerry Lawler. He says Andy was a legendary performer. He also says that Andy got into wrestling because he was a lifelong fan. He recalls how they would imitate wrestling.

Carole describes how Andy saw the beauty in the world and that’s why he ignored all the people who told him to stop wrestling. But he did it because he loved it. She says if Andy were here tonight, this would’ve meant the world for him.

Corey Graves introduces The Great Muta as the next inductee.

The Great Muta

Ric Flair’s music plays and he comes down to the ring. He starts be saying he got a phone call from Kevin Dunn who told him that he was going to induct Muta in the Hall of Fame.

Flair says in 1983 he had just won the NWA World Championship and was informed they wanted him in Tokyo. He says he took 44 suplexes from Muta. He says the Japanese guys are tough.

He says the young boys in Japan would beat themselves to death trying to get on television. He recalls when he was asked to show Muta around Atlanta, GA. He says he was 240 pounds. He called him the greatest Japanese wrestler he has been in the ring.

He calls himself an entertainer and lists a bunch of guys who beat him up in Japan. He then introduces The Great Muta who is in the same class as Ricky Steamboat and Shawn Michaels.

The Great Muta’s music plays and he walks to the ring. Ric Flair recalls how Muta took care of his son like his own. The Great Muta starts by saying he doesn’t speak good Engish and he thanked the fans and WWE. He thanked Flair. He says he is honored to be in the WWE Hall of Fame.

He does the green mist.

Corey Graves that in just a matter of hours, 75,000 members of the WWE Universe will arrive for WrestleMania. Kayla talks about the Warrior Award. Graves called Tim White a beacon of life.

APA’s music plays and they come out to the ring. JBL says the APA appears to be back together. Ron says “Damn.” JBL says it is an honor to give this award to Tim White. He says Tim was everyone’s friend. He also says there was a drinking room in the back where they spent a month in with Tim.

Ron says that every time Tim needed a new wall, he would give his bar for a bar fight. Ron says Tim was a very loving man. JBL recalls how Tim allowed them to break stuff in his bar. Tim took care of money and everyone loved him for that. He then asks Tim’s family to come out and accept the award.

Tim’s brothers come out to the ring. His brother starts by thanking everyone for the great honor of his brother’s induction. He says Tim wouldn’t want him to tell stories about it. He says if Tim was here, he would thank them and express his gratitude to the fans. He says his brother would’ve said that it was one hell of a ride to the WWE Hall of Fame.

Kayla says they still have one more inductee and introduces Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio

Konnan’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. Konnan starts by screaming some phrases in Spanish. He says the US wrestling scene has diversified and he sees wrestlers of all shapes and sizes today.

He recalls how Rey was 12 years old when he met him. He says Rey was a very hard sell but he was willing to talk him up to anyone who would listen. He recalls how he used to sneak Rey into bars.

He then said that Rey was one of his prospects when he was asked to find someone for AAA. He told the promoter that he was special. Heyman asked him about Rey and Psychosis.

His first match in ECW was a classic. He says he had to sell Rey to WCW which was tough. He recalls Kevin Sullivan telling him he’s too short. He recalls how he talked Sullivan into giving him a chance. Kevin finally agreed to a tryout match.

He says Rey had a match against Dean Malenko who made him look like million bucks. He says that Rey got a standing ovation in his debut match and beat Dean Malenko for the Cruiserweight Champion. He says Rey kickstarted the luchador movement.

He then says Rey the human being is just as good and recalls some of his nice deeds. He says Rey was disciplined and tonight it’s his time to give him his flowers. He then says that Rey is an icon and an incredible family man.

He says if he were to be reincarnated, he would want Rey to be his best friend again. He called Rey the pride of Mexico and he introduces Rey Mysterio.

Rey Mysterio’s music plays and he comes out to the ring. Rey starts by saying he wanted fans to see the tough side of but he is crying now. He thanks Konnan for such a beautiful introduction. The Judgment Day get up and walk off. He says he will take care of business tomorrow.

Rey says he stated in Mexico. He grew up around his uncle, Rey Mysterio Sr. He says he wanted to get into this business and he describes how he fell in love with lucha libre wrestling.

He recalled how he would get chopped so hard, he would cry. But he still continued to learn. He says his uncle told him this business was tough but he still wanted to be a part of it.

He recalls how Konnan came down to learn from his uncle and they clicked right away. He felt like he was ready for his first match but he needed to take a test. He says there are three categories in the test and judges were veterans. He says he took the test and passed it at 14 years old.

He says he had to face the second obstacle, his age. They tell him his parents have to sign a waiver to allow him to get a license. He says he got the license and he now had to try to get booked by the promoters.

He says it was hard to get booked because he was so small. He recalls his first match. He says he had no idea that his journey was just beginning. He recalls the first time he met Andre The Giant.

He recalls how he met Angie and he invited her to his match. He says Konnan called him when he was 17 and offered him the chance to wrestle for AAA. He recalls how Konnan wouldn’t take no for an answer.

He says he was running out of money and he slept in the gym. He says he would call Angie and he wanted to return home. But she told him to wait it out and stick to it. Angie put her medical career aside to work and send him money so that he could pursue his dream.

AAA kicked off but he wasn’t making money but his career took off. He then recalled jumping to ECW. He says there would be no Rey Mysterio without Psychosis. He then says he jumped over to WCW and had his first match against Dean Malenko. He thanked Dean for his help and knowledge. He says he will forever be grateful to Dean.

He then says he reconnected with Eddie Guerrero in WCW. He recalls the first time he met Eddie and it was the same person he met in WCW. His bond with Eddie became even tighter and they created the match that put him on the map.

He then says he decided to take time off to spend time with his family after WCW was shut down. He didn’t think he would get the call from WWE but Jim Ross called him and he accepted the offer.

He thanks everyone in WWE for giving him the opportunity of a lifetime and for letting him break the mould for what a superstar should look like. He then says he has done things in WWE he never thought was possible like winning the Royal Rumble and winning the World Title. He thanks everyone who had anything to do in his life and journey. He thanked his parents. He thanked his brothers and his uncle. He also thanked his coaches and veterans.

He then told Konnan that without him none of this would be possible. He then thanked Paul Heyman for the opportunity to be part of ECW. He also thanked Batista, Undertaker, Edge, JBL, Kurt Angle, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Eddie Guerrero. He then thanked the WWE Universe. He says that none of this would be possible without the WWE Universe. They have made the name Rey Mysterio immortal.
