Kevin Owens has always managed to stay relevant in WWE no matter what storyline was presented to him. That is exactly why the company fully trusts him to get the job done no matter what. He and Sami Zayn for in for a huge match at WrestleMania 39 and now it seems their ring gear for WrestleMania 39 will pay homage to their times in the independent circuit.

On April 1st, wrestling fans around the world will be tuning in for the start of WWE’s two-day WrestleMania 39 event. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will challenge The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 39.

This match holds special significance for Owens and Zayn beyond just the chance to capture championship gold. After all, both wrestlers have a history in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, where they became household names in the indie circuit.

WrestleMania 39 will be taking place in California this week, which is the home of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. While speaking to TVA Sports, Kevin Owens revealed that his and Sami Zayn’s ring gear will pay homage to their time in PWG.

For sure, I’d like to thank Excalibur and Super Dragon. The fact that WrestleMania is in Los Angeles is huge for us and the gear we’ll be wearing for our match, will have a little nod to PWG. Without Super Dragon, we would not be where we are today.

Fans are clearly behind Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens and want them to win the titles at the Show of Shows. After all, it would become the perfect fairy tale ending to their storyline. Keep checking back at Ringside News for more.
