Vince McMahon’s return to WWE sparked a lot of intrigue within the fan base. Many were skeptical that Vince McMahon could return to the company in any capacity and not have his hands in the creative department. Although they are totally denying this, it seems that the writing is on the wall that Mr. McMahon is calling, at least some of, the shots.

Vince McMahon has a famous list of banned words. You may click here to check out list of those banned words that was just leaked by a former WWE writer. Wrestling, although it is in the company’s name, is a banned word.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that there is a big sign that Vince McMahon has his fingerprints on creative once again. An unnamed RAW Superstar was recently forced to re-shoot a segment because they dropped one of Vince McMahon’s banned words.

If you haven’t seen the fingerprints of Vince McMahon on camera, and there are little things here and there, there was a pre-tape interview on the 3/20 Raw where somebody used the term “wrestling” and they had to redo. Granted since Reigns and Rhodes used the term pro wrestlers in their promo on the same show

We’ll have to see what happens with WWE in the months to come. The company could be sold by the middle of this year, and we are closing in on that mark. It seems that Vince McMahon’s list of banned words might carry on for a long time, given the current situation.

It is interesting that WWE isn’t allowing wrestlers to say “wrestling” anymore. Drew McIntyre famously said right after Mr. McMahon’s retirement that he is a pro wrestler in a pro wrestling ring. Apparently, that verbiage isn’t allowed anymore, even though Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns were allowed to use it. So, it might be more of a situational thing now.

What’s your take on WWE keeping Vince McMahon’s list of banned words? Will Mr. McMahon appear at WrestleMania? Sound off in the comments!
