Grayson Waller Wants To Change WWE United States Title To ‘Australian Championship’

Grayson Waller has a bright future in WWE, and he also has big dreams of his main roster run. The United States Title is still going strong with Austin Theory as champion, but Waller would like to change that. He would also like to alter the title’s name.

While speaking to Roasted podcast, Grayson Waller opened up about his dreams for the main roster. He still has unfinished business in NXT, but it never hurts to plan ahead.

Grayson Waller wants a run as United States Champion in WWE. That being said, he also wants to make his run memorable by altering the name of that championship.

“If there’s an opportunity to be on that show, it would be a dream itself. I rep my country, I rep Australia every time I wrestle. It’s on my gear. I do that for a reason. Just because I left Australia doesn’t mean I left that behind. My dream is to wrestle in Australia, whether that’s in Sydney at Acer Arena [Qudos Bank Arena] or MCG [Melbourne Cricket Ground], they’ve talked about a big stadium in Perth.”

“To wrestle somewhere that I’ve been to watch cricket, to watch rugby, to actually perform there would be massive. It doesn’t matter who I’m against. The one thought I did have, which would be a beautiful thing, is if I could win the United States Champion in Australia and then convert that championship into the Australian Championship. That would be a beautiful thing. I see that American flag, and it doesn’t excite me. It doesn’t rep me. I don’t want to have it as the US belt, I want to turn it into the Australian Championship. That’s my plan.”

We’ll have to see what Grayson Waller does next in NXT. He has a big match slated for Stand & Deliver against Johnny Gargano. That match will give Grayson Waller a big match in NXT, and it will also let Johnny Wrestling close his story in NXT in his own way.

Grayson Waller could be in line for a main roster call up sooner than later. He seems ready to draw heat from the WWE Universe on a larger scale. We’ll just have to see if that United States Title run will come to fruition as well.
