Saraya took to the microphone on AEW Dynamite this week, and she had an awful lot to say. The first-ever NXT Women’s Champion spouted off enough of an obscenity that AEW had to hand down a fine. At least they were able to make good use of that money.

Saraya was fined an undisclosed amount of money after she got a little colorful with her language, and she called fans “a bunch of neckbeard stinky tw*ts.” This word is not one that Turner was not okay with that.

Sean Sapp posted an update behind Fightful’s paywall where he addressed this fine. It seems that AEW using the money in their AEW Together project, and Saraya also apologized for it.

Saraya’s tweet about being fined for her promo is legit, we’re told. The proceeds went towards AEW Together projects, and had apologized privately. There was a mass email sent out to talent noting that she’d been fined for profanity and using a middle finger without informing the coach of the segment. AEW talent has been discouraged from flipping audience members off and body shaming the crowd.

For what it’s worth, Saraya said that the money was well spent. You have to give her credit for her use of tw*t, because that certainly isn’t a word that people break out much nowadays on American television.

We’ll have to see what’s next for Saraya. The better question is when Tony Khan will hand her a live microphone on Dynamite again.
