WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, with WrestleMania 39 going down in a matter of days at this point. The show of shows will feature a few special attractions, but a lot of fans are left wondering how long it will be until we see people like John Cena and Logan Paul again in WWE.

WrestleVotes recently dropped a report about WWE’s future plan for John Cena, and a big opponent that is allegedly in line for the 16x World Champion. It said that, Logan Paul “loved the idea and Cena was totally down it. They’d have made mega money, and it’s just a matter of when. They want to tell a good story because they’re megastars, so there’s got to be a reason. The match is very much on the table, even at a SummerSlam. All parties involved want to do it.”

John Cena vs Logan Paul was a match that WWE pencilled in for WrestleMania 39 at one point in time. That match was changed in a hurry when new opponents were figured out for each special attraction. Although a match between those two would draw a lot of interest, we can confirm that it is not being discussed anymore.

Ringside News reached out to confirm this story about WWE’s supposed plan for John Cena at SummerSlam. We were told that, regarding Cena vs Logan Paul, “nothing has been discussed yet.”

John Cena is insanely busy, so making it back again for SummerSlam might be difficult to pull off. Also, WWE still has to get through the showcase of the immortals this year. That being said, they are not discussing this match at all right now.

A lot of options are “on the table” for the future, but that doesn’t mean they will happen. Many things need to work out in order to arrange a John Cena return. We will just have to see where John Cena and Logan Paul both are after WrestleMania is over, but their primary paydays obviously don’t come from World Wrestling Entertainment.

Who do you want to see John Cena wrestle? Would you be down to see him take on Logan Paul? Sound off in the comments!
