WrestleMania 39 is less than three weeks away at this point, and WWE is doing everything they can to make sure fans know how special this season is. The road to WrestleMania 39 will also include a few surprises, and we have a little bit of a spoiler for you with this article.

WWE Friday Night Smackdown will return to Kansas City’s T-Mobile Center on Friday, March 17th, 2023, and this will be quite a show. At least two WWE RAW brand Superstars will be on this week’s blue brand.

We previously reported that RAW and SmackDown Superstars are set to do a lot of brand jumping on the road to WrestleMania this year. That will see Superstars from RAW and SmackDown show up on the opposite show for a special appearance.

Ringside News can confirm that this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown will continue the company’s trend of blurring brand lines on the road to WrestleMania. Two RAW Superstars are currently slated to be on the show, but there could be more when the show goes live.

As of this writing, we can confirm that Bobby Lashley and Austin Theory are both booked for SmackDown this week. Lashley will continue his feud with Bray Wyatt, and Austin Theory will continue building toward the biggest match of his career against John Cena.

Ringside News exclusively reported on the current status for Bray Wyatt’s WrestleMania match amid his recent absence. It appears that Bobby Lashley will be on the blue brand this week to continue building toward that match at the showcase of the immortals.
